YONAS is an artist I have a lot of respect for . He's someone i've been following for a long time and each time he impresses me more and more. With solid flow and a lot to talk about, this guy is someone you don't want to miss out on. I can't believe how fast he's bursting into the scene, but I definitely like it. The sky's the limit right? This one song picked out is a friggen FREESTYLE... and the rest of the mixtape is just as good if not better. Be sure you check out his earlier stuff too, this is definitely not the first master piece he's created.

Radical Something Summer Project + Latest song "Lemonade"

Alright, Radical Something are a three man team that have really impressed me and in the past year they've grown tremendously into a great combination. With a really laid back vibe, their songs are almost perfect for a summer time. I remember times last year listening to Be Easy - Radical Something and having one of the best summers i've ever hard. Something about the way they just have this ability to relax you is incredible. Their 2012 Summer Project is to release a pre-produced and recorded track every Monday until the end of the summer. They've released 3 and "Lemonade" is the third already in this series. If you're interested I suggest checking their youtube channel out at (Radical Something Youtube Channel).

Hoaxx - Lovetrack (Mr. Wonk Remix)

This song. I don't even know how to describe this song. Not everyone is a fan of the hardcore drops in Dubstep-esque songs but as far as fucking nasty goes, this song is up there in "shit dude, this song drops hard as SHIT!". Immaculate description no? Ha, but I tend to put the song on while writing these short paragraphs and this song just gets me pumped as hell. I haven't heard much from either Hoaxx or Mr. Wonk but I'll be sure to spend a little bit of time finding out.

Alright, i'm back. It's been far, far too long, but with exams and the constant partying and doing stupid shit that follows all that i've barely had a second to sit down and write these. Summer 2012! haha, okay; my mood might possibly be influenced by the fact that i'm very happy i'm at this stage but i'm going to go for a song many people already know but just brings a smile to my face. DJ 21azy has been releasing sick track after sick track and the combination of Childish and Chiddy on this just works perfect. Flip the speakers on, kick back, relax and enjoy :)

Spend Some Time - Eminem

Eminem is an artist I will never be able to communicate my respect for fully because I literally don't have enough words to do it with. I still remember in 6th grade when I bought this album and listened to it over and over and oooooover again. I was going through the album the other day when this song came up. To me, Music has this quality to it where in it brings back the memories from when you used to listen to it. This song has a whole lot of meaning attached to it for me while being incredibly funny at the same time (yes, Obie Trice is one hilarious dude.).

With Exams coming up and an extremely busy time i've decided to post an older song seeing as I have quite a bit of catching up to do with recent releases. The Script are one of my favourite groups out there and this remix gives it a special energy I really appreciate. It's not the most adventurous of remixes but I can say I really enjoy this song.

Nothing On Me - Mac Miller

That's it. I definitely, without a doubt have a soft spot for anything Mac Miller. I found this song earlier today on Youtube and I already love it. There's something about the way that he just approaches these songs, he might not always be saying something important, but for some reason I still want to hear it all.

It's obviously a cover of Bruno Mars - Nothing On You but has it's own good qualities to it. Plus it's an unreleased track that nobody seems to really know much about.

Sex, Drugs and Video Games - David Banner

Take a chance on this one.

This is actually a mixtape I didnt think i'd be posting up to the blog, but here it is. The mixtape has some impressive features creating a pretty impressive lineup but I have to admit I had my reservations. There's no denying that David Banner can be very good but my worry was the consistency, especially what might classify as mixtape music. In any case the production on this is incredible, the beats are fresh and it sounds fucking good. It's the kind of hip hop that many people hate and is hard to defend (in some songs there are however some pretty impressive lyrical messages with real meaning) but it has a certain laid back chill quality to it that just got to me. I put this one on, let it play, went on facebook and just chilled, needless to say I had a good time.

It really was hard to pick out songs from this mixtape because it really varies so much but here's two I enjoyed on my second time through.

Sample 1: Chill, funny as hell, with good production



Sample 2: Again, not the most lyrical of tracks on the mixtape, but fun.

Hot In Here - Timeflies

Another Tuesday, another sick, sick song. I literally cannot find the words to praise these guys enough, literally every week they drop a song I listen to for weeks to come. These guys really are up in my top 5 artists buzzing out there today so you can definitely expect to seem more from them.
